What was the highlight of San Ceferino Hotel
The staff was friendly (if slow, uncoordinated). The grounds were beautiful. The gluten free food was adequate. Very relaxing, romantic, successful trip overall. The chef and staff at Fausto really shined.
I don't think the staff (management, really) were ready for holiday weekend traffic. Things were broken or depleted or unclean (mostly in the spa) from high volume of use. The rooms need screens for the mosquitoes. Not all room doors lock.

Maintenance need improvement. Reception staff is not well trained in terms of servicing and solving simple issues. Glasses at the room are tiny an plastic! That does not match with the level of the hotel I expected.

I have to admit the service and the accommodation experience are all fantastic
But when coming to the payment, the hotel brings us lots of trouble and intolerance. First during the trip, there are different managers telling us 3 different prices without any official pricing list or convincing explanation. Second, as foreigners, the hotel assured us to give back the tax return of around 4000 pesos, but until now like 10 days later we still haven’t received any tax return as promised the hotel, and when we make the phone they always explain that their responsables are not available at this time blablabla...Third the reception desk are always have excuse to postpone the time to solve problem until tomorrow. Before we do the checkin and during the 3 days in hotel, there’s no one could tell an accurate number of the money we should pay,and always ask us to wait until next day. So in summary, I know it’s a good place to experience the country beauty in Buenos Aires, but unless you don’t care about the money they would like to charge you in a random way, then you may always have to waste your time at the reception desk for hours each day.

What was the highlight of San Ceferino Hotel
There should be a better charter from the centre of the city to the hotel. El" trebol" service (a private company )was very poor. The hotel should take care of this service or find a good option to get there when not going by car.
